There were angels on the stairs - some were going up the stairs toward Heaven, and some were coming down the stairs toward earth.īut at the very top of the stairs was the best part of all! Standing at the top of the stairs, was God. It was so tall, that even though the bottom of the stairway was sitting on the earth, when Jacob looked up, he could see that the stairs reached up, up, up all the way to Heaven! And that’s not all. He pulled a blanket out of his pack, “That’ll do.”
One evening as he walked, Jacob realized the sun was setting and he had better find a place to set up his bed. Every day, Jacob would walk and walk, and at night he would find a place to sleep.
